Hannover/Moscow. Deutsche Messe AG will be holding the very first CeMAT RUSSIA from 28 September to 1 October 2010 in Moscow. Over 100 companies have already registered as exhibitors at this premiere event, including industry giants such as Jungheinrich, STILL, Knapp, Stöcklin, viastore and SSI Schäfer.

For Klaus Tersteegen, a member of the management team at SSI Schäfer, a CeMAT event in Russia is a logical next step for the trade fair, “with increasing customer requirements in an ever more globalized marketplace, the need for logistics expertise inevitably increases. This also applies to Russia, where the demand for intralogistics products has grown rapidly in recent years. It is therefore a logical step for the world leading trade fair in Hannover to continue its strategy of overseas expansion with the establishment of CeMAT RUSSIA. As SSI Schäfer is a global leader in the field of warehousing and logistics systems and considers the promotion of internationalization to be of particular importance, we will be attending the trade fair and presenting a cross section of our broad spectrum of products on a 100 square meter stand.”

STILL, a manufacturer of forklift trucks based in Hamburg in Germany, will also be present at the trade fair as an exhibitor. Frank Müller, STILL Vice President Sales CEE, takes a positive view of the Russian economy at present, “the Russian market is ready to experience a new upturn. We therefore expect increasing demand for forklift trucks and warehouse vehicles in many industrial sectors. At CeMAT RUSSIA we will be presenting ourselves as an experienced partner for intralogistics issues. We are really looking forward to the fair.”

CeMAT RUSSIA addresses all aspects of intralogistics, from handling and storage technology to packaging and picking technology, material flows, warehouse technology and workshop equipment, packaging systems, traffic engineering technology, systems and software for intralogistics, logistics services and also outsourcing.

ITE Group Plc will be a partner of Deutsche Messe for the event in Moscow. The British trade fair organizer has branch offices in 11 countries and each year organizes 50 exhibitions and conferences just in Russia. The location for the trade fair will be the All-Russian Exhibition Center, one of the three main exhibition centers in Moscow.

Using the “Industrial Trade Fair Moscow” umbrella brand, the CeMAT RUSSIA, MDA RUSSIA, Surface RUSSIA and Industrial Automation RUSSIA trade fairs will all take place simultaneously in Moscow. The holding of four industrial trade fairs in one location provides excellent opportunities for cross-industry business. The new trade fairs in Russia provide internally-oriented exhibitors with a further platform featuring the tried and tested trade fair expertise from Hannover.
