Value Curves

What is the residual value of equipment?

The residual value determination is one of the risk-components of (mostly) an accounting or a leasing/financing operation that describes the future value of the equipment as an absolute value or as a percentage of the initial price when the good was new. This value development forecast serves as a basis for e.g. banks and leasing companies to calculate the leasing/financing rate properly. The better the residual value estimate (on the part of the financier/lessor/rental), the better the in- & external risk calculation.

LECTURA provides leasing companies and banks all over the world with more accurate value lines; delivered both

  • In percent
  • In absolute numbers (e.g. Euros, Dollars, etc.)
